One But Many Puzzles story:
Megan Redfern's business started as somewhat of a happy accident in amongst a series of very bizarre life events. Megan started doing jigsaw puzzles after the birth of her daughter in 2017 as a form of mindfulness while hospitalised in a mother-baby unit for perinatal mental illness.
After Megan gave birth to her son in 2019 and was fortunate not to have had a relapse, she started to look for opportunities to share her story and create awareness about perinatal mental illness. Megan's lightbulb moment came when COVID-19 struck; tens of thousands of artists and creative professionals were out of work, and a worldwide shortage of jigsaw puzzles followed.
Megan's brand is about three things: Mental health advocacy; supporting Australian artists and creatives; and, of course, jigsaw puzzles. Megan donates 5% of the proceeds from every puzzle sold to PANDA National (Perinatal Anxiety and Depression Australia).
