Our swimwear is made from ECONYL® regenerated nylon, sourced from plastic waste rescued from oceans and landfills around the world including fishing nets, fabric cuts, discarded carpets and other plastic components. We use this ECONYL® fiber with 22% elastane jersey to make UPF 50+ swimwear styles that retain their shape and wearability, to be worn and passed on again and again.
Not only being a solution for plastic waste, ECONYL® also reduces the impact of climate change, saving thousands of barrels of crude oil and tonnes of C02 emissions. Through the advanced technology of the regeneration process, the nylon waste is recycled back to its original purity, meaning that the recycled nylon is exactly the same as virgin nylon, making it high quality and durable for our swimwear. Garments retain their shape and wearability and are to be worn and passed on again and again. Our ECONYL® swimwear is UPF 50+, the highest specification to keep little one protected from the sun’s ultraviolet radiation.
